Escrow is an estimate and will be adjusted according to actual time and materials. The Authority reserves
the right to lien properties for unpaid installation costs.
Penalties and Enforcement:
Bills not paid within fifteen (15) days following receipt will be subject to the addition of a ten percent (10%)
penalty. If bills are not paid within forty-fine (45) days after receipt, the Authority shall have the right upon
five (5) days notice to discontinue service to such customer, until all delinquent bills for such customer
have been paid together with accrued penalties, a Ninety Dollar ($90.00)** fee for reinstituting service,
and a sufficient deposit to insure future payments.
A Forty Dollar ($40.00)** TAG fee will be assessed for processing and posting shut-off tags.
All bills and other notices to customers shall be deemed to have been received one (1) day after mailing
to the address shown on the Authority's record.
The Authority may file liens for the amount due with respect to bills not paid within ninety (90) days after
due date. In addition to filing and enforcement of liens, the Authority may take any other legal action to
enforce payment of delinquent bills.
NSF Bank Fees:
Returned check fees will be charged to the customer at $25 per returned check.
Water and Sewer Certifications:
$30 per water and $30 per sewer certification.
Miscellaneous Inspection Fee:
The Board of The Upper Hanover Authority hereby establishes a
Miscellaneous Inspection Fee of $200 for equipment modifications, and other miscellaneous inspections
required by the authority.
